About Innovative Custom Guns
Jim learned the machining trade working in his dad’s tool and die shop over the years until 1992. Since then, Jim was employed at EGW (Evolution Gun Works) as a machinist and gunsmith. George, the owner of EGW taught him the gunsmith trade. Jim worked at EGW for the past 17 years. In order to concentrate on its parts design, development and manufacturing they are no longer taking gun work. Jim’s close relationship with George and EGW gave him the opportunity to continue his passion for gunsmithing by starting his own company (Innovative Custom Guns).In the last 10 years, Jim did the vast majority of the gun work at EGW. Jim continues to use EGW parts because he knows they are the best parts in the business. Innovative Custom Guns is also open to using the parts of your choice.
Jim’s accomplishments are as follows:
- Guns featured in “American Handgunner” and “Combat Handguns” magazines
- Built custom guns for the United States Army Shooting Team
- Built custom guns for some of the top competition shooters
- Built custom guns for law enforcement
